A Virtual Credit Card is an online replacement to a physical credit card.

Senders can use Checkbook to generate a unique 16-digit number with a predetermined limit that is sent to the recipient in the form of a credit card to be used to make payments. This 16-digit number is eligible for a one-time use only. A new number will be automatically generated each time the limit is accessed.

The primary purpose of the Virtual Credit Card is to create additional layers of security in the payment process. The Virtual Credit Credit is almost fraud-free since the card number is only good for one use. So, even when card information is stored by a merchant, there is no fear of misuse.

Using a Virtual Credit Card gives the Sender the opportunity to earn money back. The exact money back would depend on the Sender's monthly plan. Contact Checkbook Sales for more information.
