The cause of a Failed Check is that the Recipient's bank information was provided incorrectly.
This means -
- Incorrect "Account Number"
- Incorrect "Routing Number"
- Incorrect "Account Type"
- Closed Account / Frozen Account
- Name Mismatch
When a check has failed, the Recipient needs to:
- Update their Bank Account information
- Reach out to Checkbook Support using the Live Chat feature on the bottom right-hand corner of the page.
