Regulations on Printed Checks

UCC regulations on Checks basically state that as long as a check conforms to the definition, it is a legal requirement for a bank to accept it when you present it to a bank teller. The bank(s) have some discretion on the amount of time they will hold the funds. Here is a link for Check Definition:
